COVID-19 Information

Hello everyone! We are three weeks out from the time of publishing this update (9/17/21) to our website and we wanted to inform everyone of the requirements we are instituting for our big day to keep everyone safe.

First, we are requiring ALL guests to:

  • Show the bride or groom proof of vaccination status (picture of a vaccine card via text or email).

OR

  • Show proof of a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours of the event if you are NOT vaccinated (verbal reports will not suffice).

We understand that some of you may be uncomfortable sending pictures of your vaccine cards to us. Feel free to block out your birthday and patient number if you feel it to be necessary. If you are unable to show proof of vaccination or a negative test result within 48 hours of the event you will be asked to leave. This applies to everyone with no exceptions. We do encourage all guests to get tested, however it is only required if you can not prove you are fully vaccinated.

Second, we will be requiring all guests to be wearing masks unless eating or drinking. The bride and groom will also adhere to this, rules for me and for thee!

This may seem draconian to some. This will also be a relief to others. We have deliberated and consulted with our friends and family as to what we should do and felt this was the best compromise we could make. We want to ensure that everyone can enjoy the day stress free and still have a good time. We already have multiple guests who have decided not to come due to a combination of high risk status and rising cases of the Delta variant in our area. Please know we completely understand if you choose to only attend the live stream, this has been a challenging time for all of us and we want you to do what is best for you and your family.

We can't wait to see you all and we look forward to sharing our big day with you. Please contact either one of us if you have any questions or concerns. We will be reaching out to everyone in the next week to confirm RSVP status as well as proof of vaccination/understanding of testing requirements.

Love,

Jack and Courtney
